Infrared Sauna Use

1 First Start-Up

The first start-up of the infrared sauna requires some precautions to ensure proper operation and eliminate residual odors.

1.1 Initial Preparation

  1. Verify that the installation has been completed correctly
  2. Check that all panels are securely fastened
  3. Remove any plastic protection from the panels
  4. Verify that the door opens and closes correctly
  5. Check that the control panel is powered

1.2 First Start-Up Procedure

  1. Ventilate the room: Open room windows for 10-15 minutes
  2. Open door: Leave the sauna door open
  3. Power on: Turn on the control panel
  4. Low setting: Temperature 40-45°C, timer 20 minutes
  5. Heating: Wait for cycle completion with door open
  6. Ventilation: Let ventilate 30 minutes after shutdown
  7. Repetition: Repeat cycle 2-3 times before first use

WARNING: During the first 2-3 start-ups it is normal to perceive a slight odor of new materials. This will disappear after the break-in cycles.

2 Daily Use

2.1 Control Panel - Button Description

The digital control panel is intuitive and allows complete management of the sauna and multimedia functions.

2.2 Display - Displayed Information

The display (11) shows simultaneously:

  • Current temperature: Detected value
  • Set temperature: Target value
  • Remaining time: Minutes remaining until session end
  • Audio source: FM/MP3/Bluetooth/AUX symbol
  • Keypad lock: Padlock icon (automatic activation after 2 minutes)
  • Ozonator: O3 icon when active
  • Temperature scale: Celsius/Fahrenheit

2.3 Power On and Settings

The infrared sauna heats up quickly and is ready for use in 10-20 minutes:

  1. Press button 1 (Power) to turn on - the display lights up
  2. Press button 8 (SET) - the indicators start flashing
  3. Use cursors 2 to set desired temperature
  4. Press 8 (SET) to confirm temperature
  5. Use cursors 2 to set session time
  6. Press 8 (SET) to confirm time
  7. Press button 5 (Heater) to activate heating
  8. The system starts heating and the timer starts
  9. Wait 10-20 minutes to reach target temperature
  10. Enter when temperature is reached or even during heating

NOTE: Default temperature: 50°C. Maximum achievable: 60°C. Control precision: ±2°C.

WARNING: Unlike the Finnish sauna, you can enter even during heating. 

2.4 Automatic Keypad Lock

To prevent accidental changes during the session:

  • After 2 minutes of inactivity the keypad locks automatically
  • The padlock symbol appears on the display
  • To unlock: press button 1 (Power)
  • The padlock symbol turns off and the keypad is active again

WARNING: Lower temperatures compared to the Finnish sauna allow longer sessions. Never exceed 45 continuous minutes.

2.6 Position in Sauna

To maximize the benefits of infrared radiation:

  • Upright sitting position
  • Legs extended or bent.
  • Arms along the sides
  • Distance from panels: Maintain at least 10 cm distance, do not touch

NOTE: Always use a towel to sit on, both for hygiene and to absorb sweat.

3 Hydration and Preparation

3.1 Before the Session

  • Drink 300-500 ml of water 30 minutes before
  • Take a warm shower without scented soaps
  • Dry completely
  • Do not apply creams or oils to the skin
  • Avoid heavy meals in the 2 hours before
  • Bring towels and water inside

3.2 During the Session

  • Drink small sips of water (200-300 ml during session)
  • Wipe sweat with towel when necessary
  • Breathe normally and deeply
  • Relax, meditate or listen to relaxing music
  • Exit immediately if you feel unwell

3.3 After the Session

  • Remain seated 2-3 minutes before standing up
  • Exit slowly from the sauna
  • Sit or lie down for 5-10 minutes
  • Warm (not cold) shower after 10-15 minutes
  • Drink plenty of water (400-600 ml)
  • Rest 15-20 minutes before resuming activities

4 Usage Programs

4.1 Detoxification Program

To maximize toxin elimination:

  • Temperature: 55-60°C
  • Duration: 35-40 minutes
  • Frequency: 3-4 times a week
  • Hydration: Drink at least 500 ml before and 600 ml after

4.2 Relaxation Program

To reduce stress and improve sleep:

  • Temperature: 48-52°C
  • Duration: 25-30 minutes
  • Frequency: 4-5 times a week, preferably evening
  • Use chromotherapy with relaxing colors (blue, purple)

4.3 Muscle Recovery Program

For athletes and after intense physical activity:

  • Temperature: 50-55°C
  • Duration: 30-35 minutes
  • Frequency: After each workout or competition
  • Combine with light stretching

4.4 Weight Loss Program

To support weight loss:

  • Temperature: 55-60°C
  • Duration: 40-45 minutes
  • Frequency: 5-6 times a week
  • Combine with balanced diet and physical activity

5 Accessory Functions

5.2 Complete Audio System

The sauna is equipped with a multi-source audio system with integrated speakers.

5.2.1 Bluetooth

Wireless connection with smartphone, tablet, MP3 player:

  1. Press button 4 (Selector) until Bluetooth symbol appears on display
  2. On device: activate Bluetooth and search for devices
  3. Select the sauna from device list and complete pairing (only first use)
  4. Press button 3 (Play/Pause) to start playback
  5. Use cursors 2 briefly to skip tracks
  6. Hold cursors 2 to adjust volume

5.2.2 USB MP3

Playback from USB stick (MP3 format):

  1. Insert USB drive with MP3 music into USB port (10)
  2. Press button 4 until MP3 symbol appears on display
  3. Button 3: Play/Pause
  4. Cursors 2 brief: Forward/Backward tracks
  5. Cursors 2 held: Volume

5.2.3 FM Radio

FM radio with 30 memories (87.5-108 MHz):

  1. Press button 4 until FM symbol on display
  2. Manual tuning: Press 3, hold cursors 2 for 2 seconds to desired frequency
  3. Automatic memory: Press 3 until "CH01" appears, then 8 (SET) for automatic search and storage of 30 stations
  4. Memory selection: Press 3 to scroll through 30 memories (CH01-CH30)
  5. Volume: Hold cursors 2

NOTE: Requires "Y" FM antenna connected to control unit.

5.2.4 AUX Input

External source connection via 3.5mm mini-jack (9):

  1. Connect device to AUX IN (9) jack
  2. Press 4 to select input (displays MP3 symbol)
  3. Only volume control available (cursors 2 held)
  4. Track controls on external device

5.2.5 Audio Tips

  • Prefer relaxing music, natural sounds, guided meditations
  • Moderate volume to promote relaxation

5.3 O3 Ozonator (if present)

WARNING: Function ONLY for cabin disinfection - DO NOT use with people inside.

The ozonator saturates the environment with ozone (O3) to sanitize the cabin.

5.3.1 Correct Use

  1. Ensure the cabin is EMPTY - no person inside
  2. Press button 7 (O3) to activate ozonator
  3. O3 symbol appears on display
  4. Leave the sauna closed and empty during operation
  5. Automatic shutdown after 30 minutes
  6. Manual shutdown: press button 7 again
  7. After O3 cycle: ventilate cabin for 10 minutes before use

5.3.2 When to Use

  • After use by multiple people
  • Once a week for home use
  • 2-3 times a week for intensive/commercial use
  • After prolonged periods of non-use

WARNING: Ozone at high concentrations can be irritating to respiratory tract. ALWAYS use with empty cabin and ventilate well before use.

7 When NOT to Use the Sauna

Avoid using the infrared sauna in the following situations:

  • During pregnancy (consult doctor)
  • With fever or acute infections
  • With uncontrolled heart conditions
  • After consuming alcoholic beverages
  • With unstable blood pressure
  • With frequent nosebleeds
  • With open wounds or skin infections
  • During heavy menstrual flow
  • With recent metallic implants (consult doctor)
  • Under effect of drugs that alter sweating

WARNING: When in doubt always consult your doctor before starting regular use of the infrared sauna.

NOTE: The infrared sauna can be used daily without problems.

9 Shutdown

At the end of the session:

  1. The timer automatically turns off the panels
  2. If early shutdown needed, use OFF button
  3. Open the door and let ventilate 15-20 minutes
  4. Remove used towels
  5. Dry any sweat from benches
  6. Leave door ajar until complete cooling
  7. Turn off main switch if not used for days

NOTE: Proper ventilation after use keeps the wood dry and prevents unpleasant odors.
