  • Residual current device <30mA dedicated to the tub
  • Compliant grounding system
  • Equipotential bonding of all metal masses

DANGER: NEVER use the tub if there is no electrical system compliance declaration.

2.2 Residual Current Protection

The residual current device (safety switch) protects against electrocution:

  • Must trip with leakage current <30mA
  • Type A or B (do not use type AC)
  • Dedicated exclusively to the tub or bathroom circuit
  • Test periodically by pressing the TEST button

DANGER: If the residual current device trips frequently or the test does not work, DO NOT use the tub and call an electrician.

2.3 Safety Zones in the Bathroom

ZoneDescriptionPermitted Installations
0Internal volume of tubOnly max 12V devices powered from outside
1Above tub up to 2.25mElectric water heaters with IPX4 protection
260cm from tub edge horizontallyClass II devices with IPX4 protection
