1 Introduction to the Bluetooth® Audio System
Modern hot tubs can be equipped with an integrated Bluetooth® audio system, designed to enhance the relaxation experience through music playback directly from the speakers installed on the cabinet or shell.
The system generally consists of:
- At least 2 integrated speakers
- Built-in Bluetooth® module
- Compatibility with major audio sources (smartphone, tablet, computer)
The speakers can be installed:
- In the external cabinet (skirt)
- On the upper part of the shell, depending on the model and options chosen during production
NOTE: The speaker position varies depending on the model and cannot be modified afterwards without structural work.
2 Requirements for Music Playback
To use the audio system you need:
- A device with active Bluetooth® connectivity
- A compatible audio source (music files, streaming apps, videos, etc.)
Once pairing is complete, the hot tub is recognized as an external audio device and the integrated speakers will be used for sound playback.
3 Bluetooth® Pairing Procedure
Initial pairing is only necessary on first use or when connecting a new device.
3.1 Device Search
On the source device (smartphone, tablet, or computer):
- Enable Bluetooth®
- Start searching for available new devices
The hot tub will be displayed with one of the following names, depending on the installed electronics:
- PROW-BT
- P20
- P30
- JOYONWAY
Select the device from the list to start the connection.
3.2 Entering the Pairing Code
If requested, enter one of the following numeric passwords (variable depending on software version):
- 2288
- 8888
- 1234
- 0000
WARNING: If the entered code is not accepted, repeat the procedure using one of the other codes listed.
4 Using the Bluetooth® Audio System
Once pairing is complete:
- Music is played directly from the hot tub speakers
- All controls remain manageable from the source device (smartphone, tablet, etc.):
- Volume
- Track advancement
- Pause / play
- Playlist or app selection
Normally it is not necessary to repeat pairing each time: when the hot tub is turned on, the system automatically reconnects to the last paired device.
NOTE: If multiple Bluetooth® devices are nearby, the hot tub will attempt to connect to the last used device.
5 Technical Characteristics of the Bluetooth® Protocol
Bluetooth® operates in the frequency band around 2.45 GHz and uses a technology called frequency hopping to reduce interference.
6 Range and Device Management
The Bluetooth® system supports:
- Communications up to 10-15 meters (under ideal conditions)
- Simultaneous connection of up to 2 devices
The system operates in master-slave mode, therefore only one device can transmit audio to the hot tub.
WARNING: Physical obstacles, walls, metal structures, or electromagnetic interference can significantly reduce the operating range.
7 Tips for Optimal Use
To ensure the best audio experience:
- Keep the source device within a few meters of the hot tub
- Avoid covering the speakers with towels or objects
- Disable other unnecessary Bluetooth® devices nearby
8 Troubleshooting Common Problems
In case of failed connection or unstable audio:
- Disable and re-enable Bluetooth® on the source device
- Delete the pairing and repeat the procedure
- Restart the hot tub
- Verify that no other device is connected simultaneously
NOTE: If the problem persists, consult the technical manual for your model or open a support ticket.
